what was amazing for TLC was the vocal differences: T-Boz and Chilli tones are totally different, and Left-Eye only rapped. They were a great fit for each other
Don't get it twisted. This ain't like "Beyonce and her backup singers..." like everyone thought when it came to Destiny's Child. This was "Cindy, Maxine, Dawn, and Terry as a group and staying together".

NO ONE in En Vogue was relegated to the back and I surely don't remember anyone playing musical chairs with the group members.
And What we're not gonna do is Act Like Destiny's Child was the only group to have member changes or a lead singer. The Same can even be said about TLC since T-Boz lead about 80% of the songs in their discography or the fact that they Kicked That Crystal Girl out of the group just so they could secure a record deal even though it was her group to begin with.
