If you remember, the song was suppose to be recorded for Kelly Clarkson's previous album as a duet with Daughtry but Nick decided to keep it to himself for his shalved album Coming Up For Air.
Well, the song leaked like a month ago and it's really really good but I must say you can hear the song would fit Kelly and Daughtry even more than Kara and Nick.
I actually think it would have amazing with the two of them.
I remember Nick was the one decided to keep the song for himself, don't think it was her label's decision.
I'm just happy the song ended up surfing on net...I wonder if Kelly and Daughtry recorded a version...
Well Kelly sad that the song was great but when they recorded their version with Howard Benson, it just wasn't right and wasn't a good enough song for the two of them to do together. She also said the label agreed with her.
Maybe, I never follow it up too much, just remember they recorded a duet written by Nick and Kara and than a post saying he kept it for his album and I really wanted to hear it.

It would've probably saved the era if it was the second single. Maybe their version really wasn't good? But I kinda doubt that since this song seems tailor made for both their voices. Oh well...
