Before her meltdown there was no doubt she was successful but a few of her singles,NOT all, didn't chart the top 10. They were mostly top 20. Now that she got over her meltdown her songs are hitting #1 and cracking the top 10. So would u think things got better for her after the breakdown?(Not dissing her BTW)

NO! Her singles failed to chart high earlier in her career due to the HOT 100 forumla at that time. Digital sales weren't a major factor like now. Sales has always been her strongest thing and the chart back then was basically almost just airplay. If anything the meltdown only decreased her fan base and damaged a part of her career and legacy she worked so long and hard to build.

Maybe. But at the time before her meltdown, it was mostly about album sales and she was slaying left right and centre in that retrospect - with 2 Diamond albums.

The only reason her songs didn't do well on Billboard before 2007 was because radio completely boycotted Britney's music because of disagreements with Jive. Clearly the problems between Jive and the radios were sorted before Blackout and Circus came out, alas chart success.

No, it didn't help her chart success, but the iconic pop culture meltdown of Britney Jean Spears did, indeed, I believe, help her career. I would argue it revitalized her career in terms of interest. Everyone was interested in Britney Spears again. After and during the "In The Zone" era, her career and sales began to taper, even though she was at the top of her game. It was only during and after her breakdown, did her career pick back up. The bigger question is: Was it all worth it?
