Yuri responds to criticism that she has always copied Madonna and that she is now copying Lady Gaga by stating her admiration for them.

She's a Mexican artist; a legend. She was very popular back in the 80's & early 90's & still pretty relevant today. So don't come for her like she is/was some basic bitch.

.. & I'm not very much surprised that she was influenced by Lady Gaga. It's reflected upon her costumes @ her concert & her sense of style in general, recently. (which I'm not saying it's drastically has changes from what she use to wear)

.. I'm glad she's honest to herself & the media that she was influenced by Lady Gaga. If more artist where like this we'd have world peace.
