I never fully understand how these threads always seem to implode in the manner that they do; however, I think a good 3 posts in the entire thread stay on the topic of the OP...everything else was baity and meretricious.
As for the Guardian's review, perhaps i'm an oaf or I lack reading comprehension skills, but I failed to see how that was even remotely shading Rihanna.

Either way, she could have recited Nick Clegg's conference speech from Wednesday over the sound of Harris cracking his knuckles and it would be a hit, so here's to album number seven this time next year.

Sounds like a testament to the fact that Rihanna can pretty much create whatever type of music she wants and it will still be a hit...correct me if i'm wrong.
The bantering between stan groups is beyond conceivable at this point. Especially with Rihanna and Beyonce. Jay himself said that Ye, Bey and Rihanna are "complete his family". Beyonce has never spoken a bad word against Rihanna, and vice versa. Furthermore, their musical sounds are nowhere similar at this point in time...so why even compare the two? How does tearing down one artist elevate another? And this is not just the beyhive, the Navy is definitely a proponent of the never-ending feud that has plagued this site for months now.
All I have to say is that this was one review (which i still don't think it was a bad review) of many--most of which were all singsong-esque praise for the Baijan.
