With social media (Facebook and Twitter, mainly), you can literally stalk someone. You know that cases about people being kidnapped or robbed just by the info the person (which is ridiculous) tweeted, the burglars knew his exact location and robbed his house, etc.

Less dramatic, you can see what's with someone you haven't had contact in years, or that crush you have, it's like our info is all over the internet.

What do you think about this? Is it really helpful, or do you think it's reaching?

People have to have control of what they upload or not, but y'all know many of you are such an attention *****s and post wherever you are, and if it was not that much, you post receipts (pics).

I mean, specially Google. They have your name, your location, the photo of your house, your contacts, your number, they are watching you.

It's scary.

Frighteningly easy.

Social media has it's pros and cons. But some people take it way too seriously like checking your Facebook page to see if your significant other is cheating on you. IT'S A WEBSITE. I also think social media plays a big part on some young kids doing poorly in school. They get easily distracted with it. I see this a lot.

Social media sucks imo.

I deleted my Facebook. Most of the people I had on there I have on my phone, especially the people I actually want to keep in contact with. I was also sick to death of getting tagged with embarrassing drunken photos of myself.

Is Tumblr even considered a social media site?

Social media has literally redefined the entire marketing industry. I feel bad for advertisers and publicists because it has made everything so much harder for them. The general consensus is that social media makes everything easier, but for working advertisers it has made everything so congested. Even though social media has created an easily accesible market, it's extraordinarily difficult to get your voice out.

I would think so. But it's more like a troll site for fanboys/girls.
