...feel the need to refer to Lady Gaga as Stefani? You don't call Rihanna "Robyn", you don't call Katy Perry "Katy Hudson", you don't call Ke$ha "Kesha Sebert" and you most certainly don't call Nicki Minaj "Onika".
lol I've referred to her as such a few times in the past being shady, but Gaga is one of my faves so it's all good. People call her Stefani because they see "Lady Gaga" as a manufactured persona and not who she truly is.
I use Tenitra most of the time when referring to the glorious Tenitra Michelle Williams and I sure as hell love to use Kelendria when using Ms Kelly....
If you're a fan of the person you should not refer to them as their past name- refer to them as the name they wish to be called out of respect. Lady Gaga wants to be called lady gaga so call her lady gaga. Same with every other artist call them the name they desire if you have any respect for them. If not you'll comeoff as shady.
The worst is when people refer to marilyn manson as brian. Now thats more embarrassing then any of these pop divas real names. To go from a killer like 'manson' to 'brian'.
