FLAWLESS ALBUM. The ultimate sophomore album, with a succinct and detailed combination of DANCE, POP, and R&B. Every beat if fun, vibrant and runs through your bones. The 808 horns, guitars, the baselines, congo, the horns all come together to craft a collection of up tempo, ass-shaking numbers. Not ONE song on the album is filler.
Ring The Alarm, Deja Vu, Suga Mama, Freakum Dress>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Virtually everything that was on the radio at the time.
"So if you want to (uh uh huh uh uh)
You got the green light (uh uh huh uh uh)
So if you want to (uh uh huh uh uh)
You got the green light (uh uh huh uh uh)
So if you want to (want to, want to) (uh uh huh uh uh)
You got the green light (uh uh huh uh uh)
So if you want to (uh uh huh uh uh)
You got the green light (uh uh huh uh uh)
Give it to mama"

I was just playing this masterpiece yesterday.
The queen's gems in her catalog.
This album shat & snatched, solidifying her place in the industry.
Along with the songs.
But Deja'Vu...HONEY!
This song >>>>>
The video,performances,beat,dance moves.
Everything just....whoo
Lets NOT get into how this performance just was epic on SO MANY LEVELS!
Deja'Vu is a song that will be remembered for years to come.
B'Day was an R&B/Soul/Funk masterpiece. Possibly iconic and one of the best of its time. Everything about B'Day was just Beyonce. It's unique, high energy instrumentals, lyrics, arrangements is definetley something that define her for the legend she already is.
I remember when all radio played was Irreplaceable. Good times.
I love that this album is ONE and has a unified feel to it. My 2nd favorite from Beyoncé after 4. It's an album you can jam to any time of the day. You wouldn't expect album like this to sound as if it was completed in just 3 weeks. This album truly helped to give Beyoncé the extra edge in the industry
