I've already seen you in PYP and yeah, I don't need to see you again.
A video tutorial of your computer screen would be nice though.

This makes me upset. Uninstall Animation Shop, reboot your computer, and then reinstall Animation Shop. Maybe the fact that you installed Animation Shop BEFORE you had the codecs installed may be the problem.
Whatever. Haha.

I'm not having this!
Well, I'm searching online, and this is one thing I got:
http://icon-tutorial.livejournal.com...hread=56040452
Do what Josifier said and get back to me, also, let me know if the video splitter
will take an avi file, now after you have a codec installed. It should!

Okay. Did that as well.. but then I'll check .avi to allow it for use on the program.. press OK and then I go back to the list where I checked .avi, and it's not checked. The only one that is checked is .mng, which is impossible to uncheck
Also, the video splitter always accepted .avi files, just the Animation Shop has and did not.

I went ahead and checked mine too and it's exactly the same. All I have checked is .mng and it's gray and nothing else is checked, but I can still enter videos into Animation Shop. You told me earlier that the video splitter wouldn't accept your avi file because of a codec issue, but that it did accept a WMV file. Is Animation Shop not accepting BOTH the spliced avi AND wmv files?

I only use Windows, so...
But give it a try! I don't see why not? ^_^

Oops, did I say that?
The splitter accepted both no matter what, but Animation Shop accepts neither- yes.

Try to open a gif into animation shop. Save your Fergie avatar to your comp, and then click, hold, and drag your avatar into Animation Shop. You should see frames. Just testing.

So Animation Shop works, then... but we're missing something.
Stay parked on Step 6 for now, Rem. I'll do some more research to
see what the dealio might specifically be for you and we'll continue this later.

So everything worked fine until I tried to save the gif. It froze the program, and caused it to crash.

Thank you so much, Vin.

This is much more easier than Photoshop, for me anyway.

That's why I don't use Photoshop either. This way is much lighter and just a swift, quick way to make a quality 125x125 avatar. The Photoshop tutorial I will create will be a light version as well. Not the bulky, RAM-heavy Photoshop CS5.
And good luck!
