X was a disaster in the US and Aphrodite didn't do much better. Despite Kylie having pretty good label support and high end, often american producers,Kylie failed to shift more than 50,000 copies in a major market with Aphrodite. Do you think she'll ever have a hit again in the USA?

She's too European. But she has good music tho. She's like Robyn in a sense. Good Dance artists but the US is just fickle.

Her music is US-ready tbh. All four singles from "Aphrodite" topped the dance chart.

I don't really like her music, so her lack of a big break here is pretty self explnanatory to me.

Kylie is a goddess and I sometimes hate that she isn't big in the U.S while the radio is filled with talentless hacks making the same generic crap over and over.

The version with Kylie was released in Europe, while the version with Travie was released in North America.

She has a european sound. The US market has made it pretty clear that they won't buy that.

However it's such a shame that Get Outta My Way flopped miserably while Mr. Saxobeat is climbing up the charts

"Get Outta My Way" would have smashed if Britney released it. I'm still shocked her label declined it, since it was originally meant for her, and it's a great song.

Get Outta My Way sounded like such a smash to me, yet it actually flopped in the UK.

IDK maybe Kyle's getting too old to be commercially viable.

Those are two of the weakest singles she's released in her entire career. TRUST.

I think people want more songs like "all the lovers" from kylie nowadays. it's still kylie, it's still dance, but it just has a more mature sound to it.

with that said, i like "get out of my way" more than "all the lovers"
