EDIT: I agree with MusicTalker. She will build her fanbase slowly. It will take a couple of albums though, everyone's not Gaga. Rihanna never really build a stanbase until the end of Rated R, her forth album. Mostly because she had that 'hard' image but still. Beyonce also never had much of a stanbase outside of African Americans until IASF. I give Katy one entire album until she has a solid fanbase.... that is if she makes an album similar to this one. If she tries to go down the OOTB route again it will take her longer.
