those numbers are quite fake... real worldwide sales are the sum of mediatraffic + hitlists divide by 2...

Madonna is doing amazing, but I don't trust anything from Wikipedia. I mean, maybe 2% of the info we have there can be true, but I wouldn't put my faith on that. ¬¬ And you know why's that? Simply because there's a "edit" button there, and ANYONE can click there and post ANYTHING.
