Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has checked into rehab after 'hitting rock bottom' following her split from fiancé Tom Crane.

Her spokesperson confirmed to Mail Online that the popstar was seeking treatment, adding: 'Sarah Harding has entered a treatment centre for depression and alcohol addiction.

'There will be no further comment on this matter.'
