No. If they want to still lead the game they should reinvent and be in par with the products now. To be really honest, they are just selling because of the brand. But without the success of the brand name that is Apple, they wouldn't be on top.

They should focus on the ipods (especially iPod Classic) which was the ones that gained fame for them if they want to stay relevant I want Classic to be upgraded to 200Gb with a better looking

You know its because the train is going that fast, if there is a small track lost it would severly collapse. The faster, the stronger, the easier to fail.

YES. A bigger album art and enhanced coverflow should do the trick but they wouldn't because it isn't sellable anymore.

Thats exactly my dream. I would spend $500 having a Classic which shows big cover arts and holds 200Gb. I really DO !! I dont know but if they really do it I think people will buy them, since I know a lot of people do need big storage.

I think they wanna focus on the iPhone now since it sells enormously (1 Million phones in 24 hours?? A 10.99 album can even hardly sell 500K in a week) plus they give customers minimal enhancements, smash the apple logo then BAM! People would buy it just because it's Apple.

But I know this isn't the end of the Classic. It would probably get a last refresh since they didn't officially end it. The iPod is their biggest trademark and I'm sure it wouldn't be killed off without ending with a big bang.

Yes they'll still be #1... The thing about Apple is they've been working on the iPhone and iPad for YEARS before anyone ever knew ANYTHING about them. So right now they're working on new devices that probably wont come to light for another 5 years or more. They'll continue to slay.

Weel that was the time they still got Steve Jobs... now hes gone so things must be changed... u know if the fact of his death wont change anything, that kinda means he was not that valuable which is not true. He was very effective.

The ONLY reason they're losing market share is because the mobile market is over saturated with Android devices. There's at least 2 -3 new Android phones coming out every other week. iPhone's are a once a year deal.

Its the same way people swore up and down that the Android tablets were gonna slay when in fact the research released just yesterday says that 97% of tablet web use comes from the iPad.

And on the stock market Apple is ******** on Google by 200 BILLION with stocks projected to rise with the release of the 4S and the holiday shopping season.

You're obviously not of age to be working in the corporate world... Companies plan AHEAD. Everyone aruond Steve knew he was about to die. Steve knew he was going to die MONTHS AGO. The man left a blueprint for the company to follow for years to come. It's not like he just suddenly died.
