As in her wanting to just start afresh and do things right? You've got a point, though I think it's also possible she's gotten tired of the entire recording process. Notice how Avril brought it up? The only time she's ever even mentioned people who've worked with her was when she called out RCA at the start of the year. Besides that she just talks about Deryck
when asked.
Plus, as she mentioned, she had a very specific vision for this album, which she had to compromise. Her album was pushed back well over a year as well, from November 2009 to March 2011.
Add in the drama with the singles, such as her wanting to release Push, and it's pretty believable that Avril might have gotten tired of making music.
