While recording his new album at The Hit Factory Criteria in Miami, Atlanta's own Rubberband Man said that he worked with fallen R&B/pop chanteuse, Brandy, on two new tracks. They previously collaborated for Brandy’s 2004 release, “Afrodisiac”.
He said that both songs are completed and are “good enough to hold the number one spot on the [Billboard] charts for weeks”. He reported that one of the two songs will, indeed, be on his upcoming April 2006 release which will be aptly entitled "The King".
He added that he’s expecting to outsell all his previous albums combined and that the collaboration with Brandy might be his first single. The other song will appear on Brandy's December 2006 release, which will include production from Rodney Jerkins (Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige), Bryce Wilson (Amerie, Beyonce) and Red Spyda (Lil’ Mo, Nas). He also said, with a smile, that Brandy is "[my] big sister so I'm letting her choose the one she wants."
