I'm on the fence with it. Not providing a place of "haven" for stans of different bases leads to other threads getting more derailed from the original topic. If you think that the Navy have made too many unnecessary countless threads threads, even when they have a main one already, you ain't seen nothing yet. There activeness would be greater in creating even more threads and then factor into that there are still 3/4 other major fan bases as well to consider. The amount of threads created per minute would hit the server's ceiling. Things would bound to get even more messy.
There is also this one thing, if I am being honest...there are times where I have no desire to speak and chat with anyone but the Britney stans in mass discussions or debates about our favorite artist. Where would such discussions take place? SYG? HELL NO! I don't care for nor do I even bother going to the foolishness of what is SYG anymore. I can take so much ignorance, hypocrisy, and idiotic comments from some so long...(not to say all of the posters there fall into that category).
