Till what point should a fan/stan criticize their faves?
Getting critical with your faves can't be avoided by any means but I think some are going too far.. WAY too far.. Its like 'some' fans are dragging their faves too much that they want him/her to be perfect all the time and some are going too personal with their criticisms
You're a britney fan. I get your point. But I hope not to the point that they are dragging her with personal matters.

Or we just don't classify them as that artist's "stan" for constant "dragging".
That's me on Katy Perry
Well dragging about what? Sometimes stans drag their faves for no reason at all. They're thinking of ways to drag her. Very simple ways that sometimes is really pointless.
If a supposed "stan" drags their fave, doesn't that make them anything but a stan? I thought the idea of a real stan is someone who has nothing but praise for their fave .. but maybe I'm wrong.
When my fave does something I don't approve of, I tend to just not comment on it

There's a clear distinction between stanning and hating. Once that distinction becomes unclear, that's when you know your criticising has gone too far.
Stans can criticise their fave, but it has to be "constructive" criticism, imo.

I do not hate her that's insane. I like her songs but then after quite sometime I tend to dislike it because everybody is jumping in. The general public are the biggest katy stans and that's what annoys me. I hear her songs everyday I like it but I find it hilarious how people are just following trends. I set aside the masterpiece that is E.T. though and Teenage Dream.
If the artist you stan for does something you don't like you can tell. You're no bad stan if you criticize your fave (and there is a difference between dragging and stating your opinion).
