How did Kelly not beat 50? I hope she comes back this year with a bigger album. I will get it. She deserves to be Number 1.

50 started last year amazing, debuting with platinum or something close to it, but then dramatically dropped as the year continued. Kelly Clarkson, on the other hand, stayed consitently in the Top 20 (50 fell out completely eventually), and had a nice cummulative amout of sales.

*Do note that 50 Cent had the same, if not more overrated hype than Kelly.
A lot of people were anticipating the Massacure, especially when Candy Shop was released. I also personally think his beef with the Game, kind of helped him in his favor. Plus there's the consideration on how huge his Get Rich or Die Trying CD was. Those are just my ideas.

I'm excited to hear her next album. Its going to have a more rock sound than pop/rock, at least that's how she's described it. I remember that she mentioned a while back that she'd love to release a country album one day, I think that would be really cool for her to do. I can't wait til she starts doing Broadway.
