my point is that no one was checking for adele before her second album especially on ATRL and that is why she didnt get many votes.

I didn't love ADELE until about December last year. I was in middle school when 19 came out, so my taste in music was a bit abysmal. I grew to love her music with age.

I loved her as soon as I heard Rolling In the Deep. That was all it took.

They have stanbases which are built on success. Adele is at a different stage in her career, her first album wasn't a huge success but it performed solidly. 21 is the album that made her. Britney, Beyonce, GaGa etc all have had that moment in their career. If they hadn't found success, then nobody would care for them. I didn't realise I had to break it down for you, dear.
