Russell being dug up was already predictable. We had enough of werewolves, witches and shifters so it was time for a second round of an old enemy.
And Tara, her plot lines were very weak lately, if she dies that would be justified.
Interesting finale, can't wait for next season, this one went too fast.
You simply don't survive a shotgun blast to the head. They may come up with some weird twist to keep her there but the bitch is dead. What a mistake, she was by far the best character.
It depends where she was shot in the face. If it didn't clip the brain area, she could still be alive (but would be in very serious need of medical attention.) But it looked pretty bad.... I just have a feeling we aren't quite done with Tara just yet. But I guess were just gonna have to wait and see.
There was a case here, where a man survived a DIRECT shot to the face, he however lost both his hearing and vision.

See the huge pool of blood would say to me that it deffo clipped an artery, any artery near the brain is more than likely a death sentence.
I think the character will stay but I think it will be her communicating with Lafayette and he will probably try to find a way to bring her and Jesus back.
The one thing I hate about True Blood is the huge gap between seasons. I think they should do 2 seasons per year, there's only 12 episodes. I don't know how many series they want to make, but if they're hoping for multiple then they need to speed it up. The cast is noticeably ageing. Bill looks gross now.
This season wasn't as steamy as the others. I was expecting a threesome at the end to be honest.

That's true, but I think they could go for more without compromising the quality. If you look back over this season, it was really good, but so much more could have happened. The main storyline ended so much sooner than it could have. Marnie's character had much more potential IMO, they could have turned it into something bigger.
I'm not sure how I feel about Russell's return. Season 3 was the worst for me, I could do without it.

True, but movies / tv do tend to over do it with the blood.
