Alexz Johnson: The Song and the Artist
"Look at Those Eyes is really close to my heart because it represents survival and strength in times that are far from easy. It also represents my belief that we are all equal - and none of us are alone in the dark.“
Alexz Johnson is most commonly recognized from her principal role as musician Jude Harrison in Instant Star, a Gemini Award winning drama series which aired on CTV and on The N Network (Nickelodeon) in the U.S. In April 2011, Alexz released a collection of remixes, titled ‘Reloaded’, which included the track “Look At Those Eyes” a song about going through a time of struggle, but knowing you aren’t alone in the fight. In late March, Nelly Furtado tweeted “Just heard Alexz Johnson's next single ‘Look at These Eyes’ - it's an EVENT!”
More about Kids Help Phone
To reach a Kids Help Phone professional counsellor, kids, teens and young adults, from any community in Canada, can call or go online 24 hours a day, 365 day a year. Anything goes. From trouble with homework to dealing with loss and grief to thoughts of suicide, kids can talk to Kids Help Phone about anything. Professional counsellors provide anonymous, confidential and non-judgmental support. Support right at home
Our mission is to improve the well-being of children and youth in Canada by providing them anonymous and confidential professional counselling, referrals, and information through technologically based communications media.
Even though everyone needs help sometimes, stigma around mental and emotional health struggle remains strong. The threat of being judged or labeled can leave both adults and kids reluctant to seek help.
