Plenty of people do side projects... but I don't know how Queen would feel about that honestly, it's been two decades since Freddie left us, I don't even know what to expect no matter whom they choose in the end.
If it does happen, which is unlikely, it will probably only be for one or a few performances. Gaga would never abandon her solo act to replace a missing member of a band, even if it is as legendary and influential as Queen.
