But my post wasn't directed at anyone on ATRL, unless most of our members are teenage girls who maintain shrines to Marilyn and Audrey despite the fact that most of them seem to know very little about these ladies. I was only satarizing that fact, and I was not applying my critique to any specific persons who have participated in this thread. It's obviously a different scenario at ATRL. Reading through this thread, I think it would be safe to assume that most of our members have a genuine appreciation for these ladies. As long as you can justify your Audrey/Marilyn love with something deeper than "I just think she's really pretty," or some worship of a non-existent personality that was an extension of a character they played in a movie, you're alright in my book. Clearly, our memberbase of gay men and film enthusiasts know these women well.
