No. For the past 6 years, everyone on ATRL has hated Jesse McCartney. This is the only music forum on the internet that hates him so much, that I've seen. I don't understand the hate.

So I might as well just join the club and fit in. I hate Jesse McCartney.

I don't hate him. His music was kinda catchy.

Well everytime a new thread about Jesse McCartney opens up, it gets less than 15 replies, while someone like Britney, Gaga, Beyonce or Rihanna get over 10,000 within a week, while those 15 replies are within a few months.

I don't get it. Everyone is obsessed with overated singers who are played 24/7 on the radios, while the underated musicians are forgotten. I prefer, honestly underated artists. Not hearing them on the radios is just...nice because no one knows about them.

Laugh at me all you want but today was the first time I heard Lady Gaga's "You and I" and "The Edge of Glory."

Like I said, I don't care for Lady Gaga, everyone likes her, so that gives me a reason not too.

And the whole point of this thread was to get people to expand their musical horizons and see what else is out there. Most people know "Jesse McCartney" by his name, but beyond that, they don't know his music really and I have every Jesse track and lately his music has been getting better and I am just trying to expand his fanbase.

He's really working with great producers and great people. His new music is actually really good if people take the time to listen to them and give him a chance and not automatically hate him because of his name.

It just makes me sad...

It's so good and if people gave him a chance, this wouldn't be over looked. This song is a throwback to the 90's R&B music and yet people don't even care. Honestly this song is so much better than the recycled beats we hear on the radios now. If this song was released 20 years ago, it would've become a huge successful song, but because it wasn't, no one cares. They just want Gaga or Beyonce.

And even Justin Timberlake vibes. Like I don't get it. Why is all this overlooked? It's soooo good.

Or even a catchy song like Make It Special? Why is this being so overlooked? It's not the best song out there. But compared to the songs we are getting on the radios these days, it's amazing to hear something new and fresh.

This song is ok, but it's a nice change for Jesse. I like the song personally, but most of y'all will just think it's average. It grew on me, when I first heard this, I was like ehhh, but now I love it.



Now again, why is he being ignored? He's working with such amazing people and trying to get a hit. All these songs scream Top Twenty hits.

I believe so. All these songs leaked around the same time when Have It All was supposed to be released, then it was dropped and all these songs got leaked. Who knows if it makes the final cut. He's still working on the album, I guess.

One Night was supposed to be the second single off the album, when his album was being released, it got a CD rip release, but then it got scrapped at the last second when the album got dropped.

Agreed. I never listen to radio anymore. I'm a big fan of Indie artists/bands, actually some of the tracks I've heard from them are better than most of the songs we hear today. Oh well, this is ATRL and you should expect those famous ones to be worshiped more than anyone else. And oh it's fine. no one will laugh at you, actually I just heard "Cheers" today for the first time as well.
