Why has this not been reported?
Why hasn't this gerl been banned?
This is all she does. Brag about how much more LOUD has outsold everything else, or brag about Rated R's critics review when neither apply to the topic. Ban this trash already.

NOOOOOO sis. What did Britney do on Femme Fatale? What did she contribute to? What does she like about the album besides "its cool." When did she play piano on recordings? Where are her choreographed videos this era?
Rihanna wrote half of Rated R. Created the image and sound. Picked the fashion for her tour, was hands on. Rihanna co-directed DSTP and Disturbia. She also came up with the S&M video concept and Man Down.
Lets not before I get 50 warning points.

what music has she composed? Rihanna plays the piano? LIES! what music videos has she done where it was HER who came up with the concept? name these videos please. What songs has Rihanna produced? and what videos did she choreography?
She co-directed the S&M video but we saw how that turned out with the law suit.

Not too much now, sis. When Britney was Rihanna's age she was doing way more to perfect her craft than Rihanna is. Damn, even in Britney's occasional semi-robotic state now, she's contributing to her artistry of her career.

Britney has done the same with past albums. Rihanna's LOUD is equivalent to Britney's FEMME FATALE album. Britney is actually more hands on with her material than you think...just putting it out there.

I can't wait for the Gaga/Beyonce equivalent to this thread. We already saw the Britney one.
Who's gonna make the next one?

She has no kids, she's not in love and she's not going through some terrible ordeal in her life. Some Navy members love to reminisce about her 'artistry' in the Rated R era but you can't ignore that the whole album was created and inspired during the worst ordeal of her life. Of course she's going to draw on her personal experiences and thus make more 'meaningful' music. For the time being she's just a young adult living the American Dream and is it so unbelievable to think that her life is just full of fun and happy moments which is exactly what her music reflects at this stage in her life???

However, Rihanna has always been this way. Even during GGGB, Rated R, etc, ie Pon De Replay, Umbrella, Shut up and Drive, Hard.
LOUD gave us Complicated, my favorite track. That song does have meaning.
The only thing that's changed about Rihanna is her growing up and her styles between eras.
There are a few things that I miss here and there and a few things that disappointed me here and there, but she's been consistent.
Each of her albums usually match the eras, whilst the mid 00s albums were more RnBish, and the newer albums in the late 00s early as GGGB, Rated R, and especially LOUD have been Electronic and Club oriented(Dubstep, House: G4L, Only Girl, Breakin Dishes, Disturbia, etc):
She makes her albums throwing a part of herself in there(a bit of deepness), with her style, and a sound to match the times/era.
In 2011, you can't expect anything but club/dance/electro/house music, so she's giving the people what they like.

You and I usually don't see eye to eye, but I completely agree with this post.

You guys ALWAYS seem to be messing it . Is it bad that i want better music from her? Especially since i KNOW she can deliver it. Idc If it's pop, rock, indie, reggae, dance w/e! I just want rihanna to live up to herself. She's better than WFL, LOUD and these meaningless quick hits.

He didn't say **** about Britney/Bey/Katy's sales nor did he name things they excel in and compare those things to Rihanna.
You just wanted to throw up some sales numbers again, which are incorrect as always.

I no longer think Rated R is my favorite album by Rihanna. I think GGGB, Rated R, and Loud each have their strengths. I think someone who seriously stanned hard for the old Rihanna exclusively would respond like this, but I started really getting into her during the Rated R era into the Loud era, but I was always a fan of sorts. I understand why people go "WTF" at Rihanna when she changes, but I kinda like the difference in sound with each album so I don't see it as a bad change.
