This was an awesome existentialist break-up song, and I have said before that if Eric Valentino hadn't gotten Ashlee Simpson's disease and been banned from singing for 6 months and Strata had been able to release Piece By Piece into alternative and tour to support it, by the time they reached Never There they would have been huge, and probably been looking at a pop crossover. ---I discovered The Rasmus' Dead Letters album to late to do much with it's utter awesomeness, so had to make up with Hide From The Sun, and it's awesome first single, No Fear. ---Brief history lesson. Greenwheel achieved mild success in 2002 with their Island Records release Soma Holiday which featured the songs Shelter and Breate (the cover of which got Melissa Etheridge a Grammy nomination). They then recorded and pressed copies of their sophomore effort Electric Blanket, but their recording contract fell apart before it could be released, and Island never chose to release the album without their backing, leaving Greenwheel to resort to streaming the album off their website and giving out free copies at their concerts, cause while they owned all the pressed albums, they didn't have the liscense to distribute the material. After a couple years of touring, they reveal out of nowhere that while they have still not found a new record label, they have recorded the makings for a new album and made a video for the song Trigger. Trigger is flipping awesome, while a departure from their somewhat conventional style, it impresses in ways the never have before. Also check out the video here as it is easily the best preformance video of the year. While your there, you can check out the video for Breathe and remember who they are again. BTW, what's next for Greenwheel? We'll they've hinted on their website that they may finally have that whole no record label almost fixed, so we can look for them to own 2006 with their new album

---Somehow this band, even before this song came out, went from just liking a little bit to being one of my favorite bands in just a matter of weeks. I rediscovered Capricorn, I had only heard it once or twice before, and realized that it friggen owns your mother. This album was a bit of a disappointment, but still awesome nonetheless, and the kick it off with this forceful song about love and spit that still continues to be awesome to this day. ---Everybody loves to rip all over emo, and I kinda get, but it's also kinda ********. Sometimes for whatever obscure reason, a song hits so hard cuts so deep that you get this weird ass huge conection. And that's exactly what happened here. I don't know why, cause it's about a really ****ed up sense of longing for love, and I don't believe love is anything but a bunch of chemicals, but none the less, theres something that hits such a supressed part of me that this song was just amazingly perfect. An amazing song in it's own right, but i think it was the weird ass conection that made it so utterly amazing for me and left a couple of people scratching their heads.

I bet in 20 years it will still be just as good as when I first heard it. This is Social D at their very, very best and music just about as good as it can possibly get. An awesome tribute to the late Social D guitarist Darrell Darnell (may he rest with the rock angels), this song tries to embody everything that love respect and hope really are.
