I do think it's probable that there is extraterrestrial life somewhere in the vast reaches of space. The universe is too immense for our planet to be the only one suitable for producing life

But I think it's highly unlikely that alien beings have ever visited earth or are aware of earth of us, and the lack of a single shred of evidence to the contrary backs up my opinion.

I think it's more than likely there's other living beings out there and also more than likely that we will never meet them (as long as I live at least)

As you said our universe is immense in size. It's 13.7 Billion years of age, our planet is 4.6 Billion years old..there's over 9 Billion year gap. If there are life out there, then there are communities out there that could be 5 Billion years more advance than us in terms of technology and some are probably still in the stone age era.

With billions and billions and billions of Planets out there and 9 Billion years prior Earth, I am extremely confident that there are communities out there that have technologies capable of traveling here and erasing evidences.

There is no question they DO exist, but I doubt they're flying around earth in invisible flying saucers monitoring us or anything.

I find that interesting. I watched a movie once, that said the Sumerers had to do with aliens and that they became a religion for them.

I definitely believe in aliens. I can't believe we're the only ones out there.

As a society, we are smarter than our ancestors (who they fooled). If they want to remain unknown, then they wouldn't dare come close. But i'm sure they have devices that monitor us.

If aliens exist they will be insects. They won't be green humanoids with big ears.

I think that to believe we are the only intelligent live in this vast universe is presumptuous, stupid and egotistical. Also mathematically improbable.

I'm all for it as long as they don't want to harvest us.
