I didn't say it wasn't beautiful

and um, I'm not sure how an actor/tress looking really good within and surrounded by a lovely scene tallies up to high quality cinematography lol

I guess I see cinematography as the use of technology to capture and enhance, the colour, textures, scope, how seemless the digital is with real and how authentic it looks, the types of shot etc.
I think it was beautiful too, but made to look as if the methods used were slightly older then what we have now yet, which is something that actually endeared it to me more.
