She already was on the O.C., it's Kirsten's sister Hailey. IRL she's actually younger than Seth, Ryan and Summer

yes, Hailey was already on the OC, but I have no idea as to why she play someone sooo old?

Actually her character isn't thaaat old on The OC. She's like 10 years younger than Kirsten, which probably has 38 years, I guess.
