I hate both shows. Maybe because I've watch both a ridiculous amount of times or maybe because their plots are so one-note and predictable. But then again, they both ran during the late '80s to mid '90s.
Loved both because they broke down doors for the perception of African American families on American television. It was refreshing to see representation of blacks in middle class families and neighborhoods with the Huxtable's and Winslow's. Fresh Prince as well, but more so showing black families in the upper middle class.
