So we all know of this message that occurs when someone or a whole thread gets reported:

Most of the time, none of this happens, and a member is just false reporting. Do you think mods should start handing warning points for people who false report? It's getting out of hand with the report happys on this site.

Indeed it should be. People get pressed and report stuff unrightfully it has no place here send the false reporters to the tower for heresy

Even though they do false report and give ******** reasons, I'm pretty sure the mods just read it and ignore it, and don't hand the warning points to the person. But they should, however, hand out the warning points to the person who is false reporting. One warning point seems reasonable. It's annoying to see these report happy report other stans because they're pressed, hoping they'll get WPs

Absolutely. I've seen way too many posts on here that get reported (and receive a WP on top of it) for no deserving reason. Some posts/threads get reported simply because someone didn't agree with what was said, and it wasn't anything shady or untruthful. It's stupid. There should be some accountability from the people that abuse the report button. It's really not fair that one can rack up WPs simply because some people on here are too sensitive or pressed.

But then we'd still have a **** ton of messy and unnecessary things lurking and posting around here.
