"They're kids" is not an excuse. There are many kids out there. Millions. But not all of them are bullying other kids like they did. They DO deserve to be punished.

Don't give me the "they're just kids" excuse. They knew damn well what they were doing when they made Jamey's life a living hell, and cheered after he committed suicide. They showed no remorse whatsoever. They're more than old enough to face real consequences from their actions. Teenagers may not be adults, but they sure as hell aren't innocent babies who can't tell right from wrong, either. If they're not properly punished now, they're never going to realize what they did was horrible, and they'll repeat the same behavior if they get nothing more than a slap on the wrist. This needs to be taken seriously.
