"We Belong Together" is placed in its right position. It was a huge hit, but there have been just as many impacting songs within the past decade. Don't try it.

It's not like I was ever going to like this list that much anyway, but "Gold Digger" at #6 (ahead of "Crazy", "Empire State of Mind", "Clocks", "We Belong Together", "99 Problems", hell, even "Beautiful Day", for god's sake) just cements my absolute, undying hatred of this top 100.

And while I do think that CIL should be top 20 and probably even top 10, I'm not sure if it deserves #1 with the competition that it beat out to get that distinction. That said, that's not even close to being my biggest problem with this top 100.
