The US likes ****. I don't know why everyones saying it only did well in Europe, it did well everywhere except for the US.

Sorry Jay, can't agree with you on this one. Madonna's album is full of remakes and didn't really deserve to be that big.

I never said that it deserved to be as big as it is, i'm just saying that it did good everywhere except the US.

In some cases the US is wrong (I.E. Anastacia)

But in most cases mediocre dance songs don't deserve to be successful.

Crazy Frog, Hung Up, Numa Numa and all that stuff did great WW. But the fact is the US isn't a fan of Dance music. Hung Up is probably doing great on the Dance Charts, but the regular charts are dominated by Rock, Pop, Rap, and R&B.

I think that Hung Up does deserve to be succesful, its a good song. I really don't think that we can put in the same category as the crazy frog.

A lot of you say that Hung Up isn't deserving of success in the US(which doesn't matter as much as it did ten years ago with how big the international market is now, but bear with me), what about a moron like Chris Brown that was at #1 for weeks on end with a song that wasn't original or wasn't doing anything innovative whatsoever. It was "Yeah!", redux.

I'm not really here to defend Madge(though I like "Hung Up"), but seriously, Madonna did deserve success in the US when you consider who is getting successful right now. I mean, seriously..BOW WOW, people? Is THAT the best that the American people can do?
