Music, Talent and her ungodly ability to entertain with a combination of both with her personality sprinkled on top. When I bought DIL, I wasn't even thinking about her stats. It been that way with every purchase since. Stats are just bonuses and stan ammunition

Talent and because of her incredible smarts. When I found out she could actually sing and play the piano I became a stan. When I knew she was a REAL artist meaning she breathes art that's when I knew she was special.

I hate when people say "I stan for talent." It's just plain stupid, and a scapegoat for people to indirectly admit that their fave will never amount to what another artist has done.

Stanning goes beyond just talent. It's the music. It's the artistry. It's the career. It's the impact. It's the influence. It's a lot of things, not just talent. "Every" artist has talent. But everybody's talent ain't worth stanning for. So spare me that argument.

People outside of Stan Land really think it's just stan war after stan war, when in reality it is not. It's much more than that. Most stans stan for an artist because they can relate to the music. Other stans because they are inspired by the artist, whether if it's to sing, dance, perform, etc.

And I DETEST the "This **** ain't paying the bills" or "You're not getting paid from this" lines. Well neither is protesting against gay marriage. Neither is getting in fights over who's the best football team. Neither is blogging either. Yes, stans argue all the time. But it's not ALL stans do. Once you establish a personal connection with an artist, when someone disrespects them, it's like disrespecting a close friend. So expect for a stan to defend their artist. Sure you can say we don't know the artist personally, but not knowing a person didn't stop millions of people from protesting against the execution of Troy Davis.

People outside of Stan Land, and those inside of it, really need to assess the stan community and why we stan for artists rather than making hasty generalizations and patronizing stans.

actually I rather when they aint huge I like stanning for underrated stuff like eskimo joe, TPR and kerli etc.


but I stan for Rihanna during pon deplay and I like her for her talent, songs, performances, vocals, and how cute and sweet she is.

Her love for her fans, the messages in her music,i love every thing about her music cause it always has a storyline and the beats amaaaze me. Her live performance and concerts just blow me away and leaves me yearning for more. Her inner beauty, her fashion, each with a meaning but so elegant and futuristic. I will never stop stanning for her cause she always stans for her fans including me And her creativity to me is one i have yet to see from other celebrities plus her risks excite me and breathe new life each time a video and single drops ((Her message that you should always love who you are,don't give two ***** about what any low-life thinks,take risks and do not doubt yourself and humility and honesty to people around you is important.(your feelings and experiences in life) ))

I seriously stan for GaGa because of her talents... I loved her since 2007 when she hasnt blown up yet.. til now.. so its clear..

I hate seeing a lot of people stanning for ADELE just because she is a major superstar now.. she was already good around the 19 era and I liked her since then. But a lot of people are really fake.. they like what other people like. Thats why ADELE is so overrated now. SHe shouldve been a lot more successful with her 19 era and her 21 one should not have been this huge. tbh. Chasing Pavements, Make U Feel My Love are better than her current hits.
