Calvin Harris warned by Rihanna fans over new song

Calvin Harris has revealed that Rihanna's fans warned him that his new single with the Barbadian beauty, We Found Love, had "better not be rubbish."
Harris, who has produced the infectious tune, told Capital FM that RiRi's followers - often called Rihanna's Navy - were keen for the song to be a hit, adding extra pressure on the Scottish DJ.
Speaking of the track - which has already blasted its way to No.5 on the US iTunes chart - the Bounce hitmaker confessed: "It was crazy all the fans on Twitter, tweeting me saying: 'The song better not be rubbish' before they heard it."
"There were some mild threatening nature to them, but it's all part of the fun. She sounds great on it."
The 27-year old added: "I love the tune. Loved it for a while and I'm glad that it's out there finally."
Harris previously stated on Twitter that he thought Rihanna "sounded like an angel" on the track, and that he was "so happy" her fans liked it.
RiRi's ex-boyfriend Chris Brown also appeared to be a fan of the song after he retweeted the lyrics "Sometimes it feels like we found love in the most hopeless place" - later deleting the post after realising his message had been picked up by the media.
We Found Love got its first play on Capital FM last Thursday, and is to be RiRi's first single from her currently untitled new album - due for release on 21st November.
Rihanna fans warned Calvin Harris that the Man Down singer's new single We Found Love 'better not be rubbish' before it was released, according to the Bounce artist, who produced the track from the Bajan vixen's newly announced sixth album.
Rihanna posted a flurry of messages about the collaboration on her Twitter account this week, revealing the cover art for We Found Love - and some of the track's lyrics - to her nearly 8million followers before it was unleashed on Thursday.
Chatting to London's Capital FM, Scottish producer Harris revealed how the singer's 'navy' came down a tad heavy on him ahead of the song's release: 'It was crazy all the fans on Twitter.
'Tweeting me saying, "The song better not be rubbish" before they heard it. There was some mild threatening nature to them, but it's all part of the fun.'
Harris, who's set to join RiRi on her Loud tour in the UK when it kicks off this month, also spoke of his pride for We Found Love: 'She sounds great on it.
'I love the tune. Loved it for a while and I'm glad that it's out there finally.'
When the song had hit iTunes and been aired on BBC Radio 1, Harris tweeted his joy at the positive reactions flowing through cyber space: 'Wowow many good comments about song with @Rihanna so happy u like it, i told u she sounded like an angel! Thanks.'

now I agree with this. I wish she would have stayed promoting Loud
I totally agree with you. I think she could have stayed and promote cheers for a while before releasing this new single. Cheers MIGHT peaked higher on pop if this single is released later. Furthermore, she should just take a small break or something? She is one of those artist that constantly has new music. overexposure?i'm not sure.
