She used to be bad-ass, rapping with the best of em in "Monster," "Bottoms Up," and her own "Roman's Revenge," and "I'm the Best." And her style was pretty dope, too. But now she's all fluff. And desperate, in my opinion.

I do agree she changed. She's like one of the pop ladies now, but that's why I liked her. I'm not here for her mixetape-Nicki ghetto days.

Hmm, as long as she delivers with her next album I am going to graciously overlook her fashion missteps.

Remember what? You mean not even a year ago? First of all, wait till her second album because im sure her image will be ever-changing and seconf of all, noone here even liked Nicki a year ago. Even now there are still only a handful of us that like her so dont make these threads acting like you thought she "used to be cool". All youre doing is flamebaiting.

Although I did like her better in the beginning of PF era, I still really love that Harajuku style she has going on.

It's weird for me.

The whole Barbie image was cool & refreshing in the beginning of the era. She looked great & it still expressed her individuality. And she was still being the Nicki we love with a new twist (since I like artists to grow). The Moment 4 Life-video type look is amazing, as well as the images in the PF booklet (the album cover ).

Ever since the Super Bass video though, she's looked terrible at all of her events. She looks like a Toonhouse Disney character. The colors are too bright, the accessories she's trying to rock aren't working & IMO she's making a fool of herself . I don't know what changed so drastically in the past few months unless I missed something beforehand.

I still love her & her music (SB isn't one of the best songs on PF at all), but I do hope she changes her style before the next album. I think the next album will be even better than PF.

I do think her image will get darker. She'll start wearing veils and white wigs

People on this board didn't start to like or take notice of Nicki until that whole drama with Lil Kim. Once she got her first huge hit, that's when everyone was like "oh, Nicki!". Most people know nothing about her mixtape days, and even if they did, they wouldn't use. They don't listen to Hip Hop.
