It wasn't going to outright flop. It was predicted to chart Top 15. Amazon likely made Sugababes a great offer to have it as an exclusive free download.

To be honest, I'm surprised this wasn't announced weeks ago. Crown pushed Single #2 and the album's release date back to Spring 2012, and Sony never intended on majorly promoting this single either, as it was announced before they signed the band.

And as I have said on Twitter, and will be doing on my blog, the song itself hasn't cost Crown anything. It was produced in-house at no cost, with production expenses and the video paid for by Nokia, and now Amazon are paying for distribution. The only cost has been travelling across the UK to promote it, but seeing as they're also making money from the gigs, it's all been profitable.

I hope a top 10, Freedom is a good song.

It has no radio support and little to no promo, even it did debut top 15 it would fall like a rock the following week, thats a flop.

Hell, no. This song is terrible. Also, they're over since that Sweet 7 mess. Finally, that's the end of Sugababes. I don't know why the bloody hell they are so overrated here
