I was referring to Gwen Stefani's No Doubt days for the most part. Gwen Stefani had already proven herself as an artist that it didn't matter if for two track songs (Hollaback Girl and Bubblegum Electric) she pretended to be a high schooler. Not to mention, the act only lasted in the videos themselves. Outside, Gwen still carried herself as the woman she is. Not so much with Perry

I don't like her, cause out of those biggest girls in pop music, her music sucks the most. Beyonce's, Gaga's, Britney's, Rihanna's, even Ke$ha's latest albums are all much, much better than Teenage Dream crap. I am also not a fan of her personality, but her music is the main reason.

Because she's a celebrity duh!
But it's mostly hate from the Navy (since she started racking up number ones) and the Monsters (her slamming Gaga's videos)

I don't hate Katy, but there are things I dislike about her. The whole teenager theme is unappealing to me, which almost ruled out her whole album 'till I gave it all a listen and found some songs I enjoyed. I hated everything about California Gurls (right down to the spelling of "gurls", ugh). And when she does voice her opinions on things, she does come off sounding a little high-and-mighty for a girl who uses sex as a primary marketing tool (not saying using it is a bad thing, not at all, if you've got it, flaunt it, and all that, but don't be putting down others for trying their own thing).

Because she's actually trying to break MJ's record by releasing a 6th single from her album.
because she's obviously overrated, i mean, what is her REAL talent? definitely not singing, she's just average.
she and her team knows how to choose the right producers though
