Adele & Ex Who Inspired 21 Album Are Friends Again
Is Adele sure about this?
The Grammy-winning, multi-platinum selling British singer, 23, is rekindling an old, baggage-heavy friendship -- with the ex-boyfriend who inspired the gut-wrenching breakup songs on 21, her worldwide smash album.

"We're becoming friends again. It's alright, I know what I'm doing. Enough time has gone by," the star (last name: Adkins) said in a recent interview with the UK's The Independent.
Adele has never identified the man who broke her heart so badly that she penned such devastating songs as "Someone Like You," "Set Fire to the Rain" and "Rolling in the Deep."

"Now with what's going on with the album around the world, it's important to be able to share it with him because it's marvelous what has happened," she explained of her record-breaking album and singles sales.
"He changed my life, I can't deny that. The album helped me get over splitting up with my boyfriend. It helped me forgive and I hope that he has forgiven himself," she added.

"I'm not boastful, but selling 10 million albums for a little girl from Tottenham, I'm very proud of that."
I think it's cool when exes can remain friends. If it wasn't a bitter breakup, I say why not be friends? That person was a pretty important part of your life, just ceasing to associate with them on all accounts doesn't make much sense to me unless it actually does you more harm than good to continue to be around them.
This is the same guy she said it would take her ten years to recover from? If it weren't for the success of 21, would this reconciliation even happen? :-\
