I thought it was very appropriate to have her on the show as a judge seeing as she went through this entire process. I remember watching "Popstars" when she auditioned with all the other girls of Eden's Crush and how the group was formulated. "Get Over Yourself" was my jam and I learned the entire choreography to it and everything.
I think both women are beautiful in their own way, but as for who is more talented, it's quite obvious Nicole has the advantage by a mile. The girl can sing and dance way better than Cheryl. It is what it is and I think Simon made a smart move to replace Cheryl with an American Artist and one who's familiar with the ins and outs of a televised talent show.

yes, familiar but still americans do not seem to have any interest in.
Anyways. Scratch the early reviews thingy. The actual reviews sadi the same thing. I loved all the random twitter appearing on my timeline from people watching the x factor saying why was she replaced... with Nicole.
Ill update first post with some new reviews.....

"Was Cheryl Cole really that hard to understand? Or did someone at Fox just owe Nicole a rather large favor? (Because frankly, Cheryl was awesome, made total sense and was adorable to boot. Please submit your plausible explanations as to why she was fired in the comments section because we're coming up empty.)''wrote TV Guide's Denise Martin.

It's disheartening to watch judges who seem interested in music mostly as a means of self-promotion (note Nicole Scherzinger's narcissism over her birthday) preside over the fates of struggling singers who display much more heart than they do.
One of the panelists is rather likable – but she's unfortunately the one who gets booted, without explanation, midway through the first episode. Cheryl Cole, who seemed the most authentic panelist in the premiere, was unfortunately ejected under mysterious circumstances and replaced by Scherzinger. (There was speculation that producers believed Americans wouldn't like Cole's northern English accent, because apparently, well, we're dumb.)

Funny, or fitting, then that the only fresh thing about the show was the Geordie-accented delight that is Ms. Cheryl Cole, a UK X Factor judge and pop star who was, unfortunately, fired from the US show after only two judging rounds. We saw one of those rounds, Los Angeles, in the first half of last night, and then Cole was unceremoniously pushed aside to allow room for American singing competition winner Nicole Scherzinger, a slightly lisping Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian hybrid who, despite some possessing some bonafide singing chops and real world experience, came across as something of an empty nitwit. Scherzinger, of defunct pop-tart group The Pussycat Dolls, spent a good portion of her evening telling everyone it was her birthday and making them sing for her, as if it was cute or something. (It wasn't.) The seemingly far more modest and deceptively quirky Cole didn't seem the type to do that, and it's a shame we won't get to know her anymore. We'll see her one more time in the Chicago auditions, and then that's it. Fade to black for Cheryl Cole. You wanted something new and original, Fox, well there it is! And then you fired her. Ah well.
