I thought I read somewhere that Disney didn't make their series go beyond 65 episodes. It's evident that it's different now, so idk

It was their policy till "Lizzie Mcguire". Due to its success they changed the rule. "Lizzie Mcguire" ended up being cancelled.

The first show to pass 65 was Raven I think..

There was a 65 episode rule (I think it was instated by Adolf Hitler Michael Eisner), in order to keep constant new and fresh television on their televisions.
Lizzie McGuire fell victim to this, but pulled through with the movie.
That's So Raven is notable for being the first series to be extended past 65 episode (Oh god I used to love that show)
Suite Life of Zack and Cody was next, and then so was Kim Possible.
Then Hannah Montana came along and we all know how that went
I think their top brands get the special treatment now, while shows that only do decently get the 65 episode rule.

Viewers are kids, i think most of them between 9-12 years. When a show get it's third/fourth season those kids are 13/15 years, and they are no longer interested in the colorfull-and-always-happy shows. They want sex

Phineas and Ferb will be a classic, even in 20 years our children will be watching to Perry the Platypus

This is true. It's been the channel's business model since it began.

Basically, kids and actors all grow up. The Disney TV shows are designed for kids from 8 to 10 years old and, and their actors are usually 12 to 14 years old. By the time 4 seasons are passed, kids are becoming teenagers, and the actors become maturer. This post pretty much sums everything up (especially the hidden part, lol).

The problem now is that children are growing too fast due to all the technologic hype surrounding them. Disney know about this, so it is perfectly understandable why they restrict their TV shows to no more than 4 seasons. It's all a natural process, but it is sad that kids's childhood is getting shorter and shorter due to, as I mentioned before, the whole technologic hype surrounding them.

They get paid ****, compared to the Nickelodeon kids for one.

And the actors just eventually grown up and Disney either moves them to another show or discards them altogether.

The actors usually are sick of Disney after a while (which could do with Disneys ****** pay especially compared to Nickolodeon) and the shows grow old.
