I think that the point they're trying to make is that it should have been released to all formats atleast a week before the video came out. Releasing it over 3 weeks after the video was released is a bad idea. But I don't see it flopping.

I think that it will steadily rise up the charts (as most Nicki and Rihanna singles do), peak within a few weeks, and then begin to drop. But even then, it's still a decent accomplishment considering the circumstances.

True. And hopefully Nicki will feel compelled to move onto album #2 after this single, because Lord knows the PF era has dragged on too long.

This. I really hate when music videos premiere way before the single hits radio... I'd prefer if videos were released the same time the song was impacting.

The Pink Friday era actually has been pretty consistent and successful. Your Love, Right Thru Me, Moment 4 Life, Super Bass, and now Fly is pulling in really good numbers. Hell, Did It On'em got in the top 50 with just airplay. Far better than I was anticipating.
