If you're a casual gamer, get a Wii. First off, they're only $150 and they come with Mario Kart.
But Nintendo's coming out with the "Wii U," a new console Wii-esque thing sometime in 2012.

Get an Xbox or a PS3 if you're a serious gamer.

^but i'm afraid if i get the PS3 the games are too expensive, like 45$

I say PS3, i have all three and I always play PS3, the games are better.
If u buy the WII, it doesn't have many good games.

The Wii's best games are $20-$30. So you should just get a Wii.

You guys have no idea how expensive are games here in Brazil

The PS3 here costs around 600$

Here it costs around 1200$

Trust me it worth it, You'll get bored of the WII really fast + it doesn't have many good games as the Xbox 360 and PS3.

lol. I bought my Wii in Paraguay because it was $700 in Brazil. I bought it for $230 there

Yes, we got used to this, unfortunately. An iPhone here costs about the same price. But people are signing petitions asking the government for taxes reduction in imported products. We hope consoles will cost 40-60% less soon.

but you're a hardcore gamer, get an xbox 360. does anyone know the prices for pro and elite? my pro was $299 a while ago.
