This is rediculous...he was wrong 4 sayin that but sayin he dont deserve that is an outrage. He has the best album nominated and it is almost as good as College Dropout.

Uncle Brian was right...Usher album was bought mostly by horny teens cuz he takes off his shirt in every vid and he didnt deserve no album of the year for that long a$$ boring album(dont know how that topic came up tho)

Love Below is AMAZING and Andre is not tryna copy Prince. Actually critics said Love Below was AMAZING!! and Speakerboxx HAD to be amazing to even keep up with that. If Andre released his album seperately...he wouldve gotten BETTER reviews and CRUSHED Big Boi.

Alright, I wasn't around when this was posted but I'm sure as hell not gonna miss the chance to comment...

Yes, Kanye is full of himself. Yes, Kanye is cocky. Yes, Kanye is arrogant. But whereas last year he may not have necessarily had everything he needed...this year he can actually back up his ****. There really isn't anyone touching him in terms of the Album of the Year category. Yes, Mariah had a great album. Yes, Gwen was a huge success. Yes, U2 put out a decent effort. And they even threw Paul McCartney in there for kicks (which, by the way, worries me, knowing the track record of the Grammys).

But Kanye really does deserve this award this year. And if you listen to Late Registration and the other four albums with a completely open ear...you really can't argue too much. Sure, you could make a case for all of the five albums (except maybe U2, I'm not so sure they belonged there). But with the production value, effort, and finished product that came from Kanye's album...the boy did his work. And I think he deserves to walk away with the award this year.

That being said...I don't think he will.

He thinks he can talk/act however he wants and blames any negativity on political correctness (whether it's related or not) and then says he can do so because he puts in the work. Yeah, so do a ton of other artists but thankfully many of them don't subject us to that rubbish he spews, and what we are harassed with instead is what the paparazzi unlawfully snaps and low level writers make up. There are also plenty of people out there in 'real' jobs who work like hell for what they get and don't act like that, there are of course those who do as well (unfortunately there is **** in every barrel) but he acts as if the work he does is better or counts for more then the others. Self obsessed and deluded, people can be fantastic at what they do and being proud of it is one thing, acting like that is another. Hopefully pride comes before the fall on this one.

Besides, I see Mariah, U2, or Paul taking it.
