Eh... Dispute the similarities between it and California Gurls, there really aren't that many songs that are really catchy, promote California, and insult New York and Jay z at the same time.

I hope. She usually takes a while to release the video. If the song is being released Oct. 11th, then the vid might be released mid-November.

^not really...Firework was released as a single in October...and the video was also released in October....

and Last Friday Night was released as a single in June.....and the video was also released in June.....

So, if she films the video this month....we should be getting it by mid October...

But didn't she take a while to release the ET video? And I think/hope Capitol realized they made a huge mistake by releasing the LFN video early.

Firework wasnt really pushed at #1 because of the vid, but because of her performances!
MVs of E.T. and LFN had a huge impact on her sales!
I bet TOTGA video will be released mid November cause she wont have the time to film it earlier and Capitol now knows that they made a mistake to release LFN's video that early!

Actually she does have time to film it this month.....she has several days off this month.....the days she has off are the September 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd....so, she can easily film it.......also she has off from September 28 till October 11......

^not really, the video for LFN was filmed in May and the video premiered in June...

It was filmed one month and 10 days before the release! So I hope this will happen with TOTGA video! the difference would be that TOTGA will have been sent to the radio earlier than LFN did!

I agree that they should wait to release the video. Firework was in a different setting than this one is. Plus, it's obvious that if they would have waited a 4-7 weeks for the LFN video it would have went #1 by itself.
