Demi Lovato gets serious with Ellen DeGeneres while making an appearance on her talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Tuesday (September 20).
The 19-year-old singer spoke with Ellen about her time in a treatment facility - and what would have happened if she hadn’t checked herself into the program.
“I went from being at the highlight of my career. Having a movie about to come out or just come out and being on this tour. Having so much success. So many things were going great in my life and then all of the sudden my personal life just went down at crazy speeds,” Demi said to Ellen.
“I had a negative break down and it changed my life forever but I’m glad that it did because if I had never gone into the treatment. I don’t know if one, I’d even be sitting here today. Two, if I’d be alive today,” Demi revealed.

I'm Glad she is speakin' Up About It, and now she is strong enough, Queen.
It hasn't been ever over a year... and of course she's gonna talk about it, the media will never stop.
Every interview she has done since she has came out of rehab has been largely about her 'struggles' I think she has said enough, the GMA interview was really good and she basically layed it all out there, the media may keep questioning her but at this point she should say she has moved on from her past and wants to focus on her album, she is milking it to get extra sales, just like she did with her 'Exclusive' E News interview to promote Skyscraper.
I don't really see it as publicity. This album was basically developed exactly before and after her going to rehab, so it's a comeback album from her lowest point. People still have a lot of questions about it, and are going to ask them, and those experiences are what lead to the development and release of this album. Everything ties together. And it's not like it's a "Woe is me, pity me, love me!" situation. She's been brutally honest about everything.
just because you're obsessed with demi lovato doesn't mean you can agree with everything she does. she's just doing all of this because she's trying to get the attention she's been looking for for soooo many years. this is ALL she talks about. how bad she felt, and how strong she is now. poor you.
