Epic video. Love "Kill Bill." So cool to see all of Quentin's inspirations. And you know Quentin Tarantino watched every single one of those movies. He's truly a genius. "Kill Bill" is arguably his magnum opus.
Doesn't the title sum it up? Everything Is A Remix. Including movies that everyone hails as revolutionary and groundbreaking and game-changing. Like all of his works. They're all essentially pretty blatant ripoffs homages.
Some of those scenes looked like blatant ripoffs/homages but some of those comparisons were just outrageous and silly. 1 director does not 'OWN' the concept of getting stabbed in the stomach or head or getting circled by a bunch of samurai. Some of the scenes definitely looked like it inspired it though. Kill Bill volume 1 is one of my favorite movies ever and watching it the first time I knew allot of stuff influenced it. Something that good doesn't just get like that without being inspired by something.
I dont know why being inspired by something has become so looked down upon. It's a good thing imo but you have to draw the line between being inspired and flat out STEALING.
