I don't think the game is anything special and if you don't like it you'll learn how to cope eventually. I didn't say anything offensive, only that the game isn't that great, and that is my opinion which isn't going to change, sorry. I don't care about memorability or spin off (flop) films, I still don't like the game. Spare the preaching, Extra.

By what you're saying, that makes it the most popular Final Fantasy, not the best. And besides, who can determine the best Final Fantasy on characters alone? If that were the case, then Final Fantasy IX or III would be the best solely because of how epic the villains are. I think if you're talking about gameplay, story, characters, and graphics, then there really is no best Final Fantasy. Just amazing games with their few flaws. But it's nice to have our favorites, isn't it?

my useless rant, i WISH:

1. they make yojimbo's zanmato not that godlike. i want to defeat penance with fair and square strategy
2. MOAR optional bosses. i want ffviii omega weapon kind of of boss, difficulty-wise
3. and non-linier gameplay would be cool too if possible. would be fun to explore spira and gets all the optional aeon (ANIMA!!) mid-game for example

oh, and can Gippal make a cameo please? that voice and hair. since FFX lacks hot guys, methinks

yep i got the international version. its harder for sure because of those dark aeons and the like. hope they're back in this version
